We are a strategic organization that converts misuse into sustainable growth, empowered by our expert usage of data and analytics, and develop long-term customer relationships. The license compliance sales executive validates and closes license compliance opportunities in mexico. The sales team works with autodesk sales partners, legal, technical specialists, and other members of the license compliance team on compliance matters. License compliance sales executives develop their own leads and train partners on how to identify possible license compliance risks for further review. Accounts worked will vary across multiple vertical markets.
you will report to the mexico license compliance manager.
you will have a combination of remote work and onsite work as this is a hybrid position.
responsibilities
* develop and monitor license compliance engagement strategy to exceed revenue plan.
* identify and capture sales opportunities with customers who have under‑licensed autodesk software products.
* assist customers in determining and purchasing the correct levels of autodesk licenses.
* guide compliance reconciliation purchases and use compliance as a compelling event in consolidation purchases.
* have a clear understanding of software licensing models, license agreements, contracts, and territorial legal framework tips.
* research and identify under‑licensed accounts and work with the sales team to develop a sales approach and strategy to reconcile customer accounts.
* understand the legal compliance framework and exercise high‑level judgment, communicating written and oral messages when selling and persuading customers to purchase software licenses and presenting liability problems if they remain under‑licensed.
* have skills in c‑level and board of directors business agreements and difficult conversations.
* collaborate with the local sales organization and legal department on the development of strategies for autodesk’s license compliance programs.
* influence channels to obtain leads; collaborate with sales for incremental business in targeted accounts to meet quarterly and annual revenue expectations.
minimum qualifications
* 3+ years of quota‑carrying sales experience, including selling technology solutions, account‑based selling, and complex multi‑solution expansion deals.
* experience exceeding quota in a structured, disciplined sales environment that includes strategic and collaborative/team selling.
* strategic account planning and research to understand how autodesk solutions align to our goals.
* bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* english language skills.
* previous experience dealing with principals, owners, and executives in sales situations or collections.
* crm experience is preferred.
