*your role*
as a quality manager on our team, you’ll supervise and maintain the manufacturing systems for the production processes of the cs mexico plants.
in your daily job you will:
- assist customers to resolve issues related to product quality and delivery in order to maintain a healthy and productive relationship, anticipating potential problems.
- ensure supplier control to ensure that all raw materials arriving at the plant meet established quality requirements.
- ensure that products and processes meet established quality requirements to ensure reliable products.
- monitor quality on the shop floor to ensure that all process and product controls are executed in a timely manner and that necessary corrective actions are taken.
- validate and launch new products to ensure customers that the new processes are capable of delivering products with the required quality.
- implement and monitor the iso 45001:2018 and iso 14000 safety management system.
- responsible for the technical career development of the personnel under their supervision.
*your background*
key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field
- fully bilingual
- +5 years of experience as a quality manager
- problem-solving techniques (8d, 6 sigma)
- statistical analysis techniques, statistical process control.
- iatf standard 16949, aiag manuals
- research, creativity, synthesis, information interpretation.
- data organization, accuracy, systematization, classification.
- leadership, decision-making, effective communication, problem analysis and solution, administration and management of staff.
- pscr
- general knowledge of vda 6.3 is desirable.
