role overview

we are seeking a highly driven head of mexico to lead our expansion and revenue growth in the mexican market. This role will be responsible for building and executing the country strategy, driving client acquisition, and establishing strong partnerships across retail and institutional segments.

the ideal candidate is a commercially focused leader with deep market knowledge, a strong industry network, and a proven track record in scaling sales operations within the forex/cfd space.


key responsibilities

* define and execute the overall mexico growth strategy, with full ownership of revenue targets and market expansion.
* build, lead, and manage a high-performing sales and business development team, ensuring strong pipeline generation and conversion.
* drive client acquisition and retention, focusing on retail traders, ibs, affiliates, and institutional clients.
* identify and secure strategic partnerships with introducing brokers (ibs), affiliates, money managers, and local partners.
* expand multibank’s footprint in mexico by strengthening brand presence and market positioning.
* collaborate closely with marketing to align on campaigns, promotions, and lead generation initiatives tailored to the mexican market.
* monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to refine strategy.
* establish clear kpis, sales targets, and performance metrics, ensuring consistent achievement and scalability.
* oversee sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting directly to senior leadership.
* ensure all activities comply with local regulations and internal compliance standards.


requirements

* 7–10+ years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* strong background in forex, cfds, or financial trading industry is essential.
* proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful sales teams.
* well-established network in mexico, including ibs, affiliates, and trading communities.
* deep understanding of the mexican financial landscape and client behavior.
* native spanish speaker with strong english communication skills.
* excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
* highly results-driven with strong strategic and analytical thinking.
* bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (mba is a plus).
