MULTIPLANT DIRECTOR
Role Purpose
The Multi Plant Director leads all operations for a rapidly expanding manufacturing site in Ciudad Acuña. This role is responsible for stabilizing production, building scalable processes, and guiding the plant through a significant ramp-up phase. The leader must ensure world-class execution across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Culture, while laying the long-term foundation for a high-performance, high-growth operation.
Because the plant is in an accelerated scaling phase, the leader must excel in:
* Building structure from zero-to-one (systems, governance, processes, KPIs).
* Rapid problem-solving and fast decision-making with incomplete information.
* Leading under pressure while maintaining discipline and clarity.
* Hiring, developing, and restructuring teams to support doubling/tripling volume.
* Managing supplier readiness, customer expectations, and launch timelines.
* Driving stabilization of quality and efficiencies while production scales aggressively.
* Implementing Lean fundamentals quickly, not theoretically — hands-on, floor-focused.
* Change management across all levels of the organization.
This leader must thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment where flexibility, resilience, and execution speed are essential.
Minimum Requirements
* 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, ideally in Tier-1 automotive or other highly regulated, high-volume industries.
* 10+ years in progressive roles such as Operations Manager, Plant Manager, or Site Leader.
* Strong background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and operational transformation.
* Solid understanding of advanced manufacturing processes (e.g., assembly, molding, machining, automation).
* Experience leading medium-to-large plants (500–2,500 employees).
* P&L management experience.
* Strong English communication skills, with global exposure.
Key Responsibilities

* Own full P&L responsibility.
* Optimize cost structure, productivity, inventory levels, and efficiencies.
* Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and CAPEX investments.

* Build strong relationships with OEM/Tier-1 customers without disclosing specific product lines.
* Support customer reviews, audits, and escalations as senior site representative.
* Engage with suppliers, industry associations, local authorities, and external partners as needed.

* Experience in multi-site or multinational corporate structures.
* Familiarity with complex product portfolios and high-mix environments.
