assists laboratory staff with sample receipt, management of reagents and supplies, and general housekeeping. Tests samples of finished goods under general supervision. Applies developing knowledge of quality control standards to review results of quality analysis and report issues as required. Supports data review and analysis, and leads implementation of risk mitigations and continuous improvement initiatives under supervision. Understands and applies johnson & johnson’s credo and leadership imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. This job does not require any experience. This job is overtime eligible.

*you will be responsible for*:
conducts verifications for completed activities due to non-conformities.
Can perform product release activities.
Assists or conducts investigations for non-conformities, audit observations, capas, and others.
Analysis of customer complaints.
Collects and analyzes data, generates and distributes reports for quality metrics, initiatives, and/or measurable items of the plant.
Maintains inventories of consumables applicable to the department (stationery, etc.).
Maintains quality records according to the records retention schedule.
Updates and provides information such as quality records of the plant's quality systems.
Can be a database administrator for the department.
Participates in the development of quality systems and processes.
Assists quality engineers by supporting production lines.
Acts as a coordinator when there are quality issues.
Supports quality engineers in maintaining the documents of the quality system.
Responsible for communicating business-related matters or opportunities to the next management level.
For those who supervise or manage personnel, they are responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all company guidelines related to health, safety, and environmental practices and that all necessary resources to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and procedures.
Performs other assigned tasks as necessary.

- minimum high school diploma, currently pursuing a degree or incomplete degree, or experience in a similar position.
Bilingual: english / spanish preferred.
*experience and skills*:
*required*:
knowledge of qsr/iso preferred.
Basic computer knowledge: ms office, word processors, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, etc. Required.
Knowledge in quality engineering tools such as: measurement system analysis, basic statistical analysis, and others required.
Certifications of asq improvement associate / quality auditor desired.
Process excellence green belt certification desired.
