in this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:collaborate with the foreign trade team to ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and requirements issued by customs, tax, and fiscal authorities.responsible for executing process improvements to comply with customs regulations and/or export control requirements.provide support for daily customs operations activities.monitor and follow up on strategies implemented to comply with legal reforms issued by federal and state governments, as well as international treaties.supporting government requirement projects.review customs law reforms and coordinate with tax, legal, fiscal, and production departments to ensure due diligence.to be successful in this role, you will need the following:experience as a analyst or specialist in foreign trade or a related field.bachelor's degree required.
preferred majors: international relations, foreign trade, international business, industrial engineering, or related fields.2+ years of experience in government management and legal interpretation.2+ years of experience in customs documentation audits.2+ years of experience in non-tariff regulations and restrictions (rrna).
knowledge of legislative updates related to customs law reforms.knowledge of international treaties and incoterms.preferred qualifications:highly desirable: previous experience in consulting firms such as deloitte, pwc, kpmg, niuko.desirable: experience with immex seciit, prosec, or maquila schemes.desirable: knowledge of software related to customs operations (annex 24 and 30, accounting records, etc.).
