responsibilities
* supervise preparation and review of accounting entries.
* manage monthly and annual accounting close.
* coordinate preparation of financial statements in ifrs.
* collaborate on annual budget preparation and financial deviation analysis.
* manage depreciation calculations of assets with current accounting and tax policies.
* ensure proper accounting of invoices and registration in system.
* authorize supplier payments and reconcile accounts.
* monitor and manage collections in accounts receivable.
* prepare aging reports and resolve disputes.
* ensure intercompany transactions are recorded accurately.
* maintain compliance with tax and accounting regulations.
* identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
* coordinate audit documentation and liaison with external auditors.
* implement audit recommendations and monitor remediation.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in accounting.
* advanced knowledge of microsoft office and accounting/database software.
* 5 years experience in tax, general accounting, international trade, costing, or accounting management.
* experience in personnel management and handling large datasets.
* demonstrable knowledge of accounting principles, standards, laws and regulations.
* proficiency in english at professional level.
