this dynamic individual will be responsible for overseeing recruitment & selection, developing and implementing strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent in hospitality in mexico, positioning us as an employer of choice.
additionally, this key member of our team will manage payroll operations, ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations, develop and maintain local hr policies and procedures, and serve as a key hr partner for employees and leadership on employee relations and workplace issues.we offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and development in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related fieldminimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition & payroll, ideally in fast-paced environments such as hospitality or food & beveragestrong track record in hiring blue-collar workers and managing workforce with experience in dealing with labor unionsdeep knowledge of mexican labor laws, payroll regulations, health & safety regulations, and statutory benefits (e.g. Imss, infonavit, aguinaldo, ptu, vacation law etc.)experience managing payroll processes and using payroll / hris softwareprior experience in the pre-opening phase of a restaurant or hotel is a strong plusexcellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging and supporting employees and management at all levelsfluency in spanish and english requiredstrong multitasking and time management skills; ability to prioritize under pressurewe look forward to hearing from you!
