What will you do
oversees and coordinates the activities in a production area to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives while setting and/or prioritizing production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Implements production and large-scale manufacturing procedures in a production environment in order to optimize processes and meet regulatory requirements. May review existing operational and process discrepancies in manufacturing and provide technical expertise to improve procedures.
* ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including fda and cofepris standards.
* supervise and coordinate production activities through group leaders, ensuring workflow continuity and project fulfillment in terms of quality and quantity.
* monitor and optimize key performance indicators (kpis) for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
* manage timecards, time-off requests, and payroll adjustments for employees.
* plan, monitor, and evaluate job performance while coaching, counseling, and enforcing policies and procedures.
* promote employee engagement and lead impact planning activities to achieve business goals.
* train and develop personnel within the assigned area, ensuring compliance with ehs procedures and risk mitigation.
* analyze production programs, estimate manpower requirements, and resolve personnel issues.
* lead or participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
* act as a liaison between management, support teams, and manufacturing associates, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
what you need
* 4+ years related manufacturing environment experience
* engineering or related professional degree
* experience in the implementation of production programs and supervising personnel
* advanced english
* proficient in ms office suite (including word, excel and power point), internet browsers and email software
* good leadership, communication, organization, proactivity and attention to detail skills
* availability to work in the 4th shift (night/weekend)
