Position: administrative assistant/bookkeeper
& location: mexico & colombia (remote)

role summary
we are seeking a highly motivated and flexible administrative assistant to support our dynamic team across multiple businesses. This full-time role involves a mix of administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and personal assistance, offering an opportunity to grow within the company. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage a variety of responsibilities effectively.
key responsibilities
- assist with administrative tasks across five companies, including paying bills and reviewing reports.
- provide support for bookkeeping activities, especially for the engineering companies using bqe core.
- handle payroll and monthly sales tax for auto repair services.
- offer personal assistance to the business owner with various tasks as needed.
- communicate with team members and external parties using platforms such as microsoft teams and google workspace.
- carry out research tasks, including competitor analysis.
- learn and support invoicing and basic project management tasks if necessary.
requirements
- 2-5 years of professional experience in an administrative role.
- excellent english communication skills, both verbal and written.
- proficiency in microsoft office and google workspace.
- familiarity with bookkeeping software such as quickbooks.
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
nice to haves
- experience with bqe core or willingness to learn.
- background in construction or engineering industries.
- familiarity with ai tools for efficiency.
