*overview*:
this position will be responsible for defining and installing assembly processes and automated assembly of electronic products.
*responsibilities*:
- provide manufacturing engineering support for installation of new equipment
- define and document assembly processes
- ensure that all safety regulations, including regulatory controls, are carefully followed as they pertain to the production area
- training of production personnel
- maintenance and continual improvement of the quality management system in the areas assigned with a "risk management" approach
- assure compliance to company procedures, policies and most current revision of iso * standard
*minimum qualifications*:
- bachelor of science in a technical discipline
- at least 4 years' experience as a manufacturing engineer in an automated electronics manufacturing environment
- excellent oral and written communication skills in both spanish and english
- good interpersonal skills; ability to lead or be part of a team
- must have a thorough understanding of electronic assembly and technologies
- experience with lean manufacturing tools
- proficient in use of microsoft office (word, excel, outlook)
*desired qualifications*:
- management experience in manufacturing engineering
- new product introduction (npi) experience
- mba or advanced engineering degree
