CAD Designer
Role Overview
A integral manufacturing company is seeking a CAD Designer with expertise in AutoCAD to support product and tooling design activities. The role focuses on creating efficient, high-quality technical drawings in compliance with customer requirements and internal engineering standards. The position also contributes to continuous improvement by providing design feedback and supporting engineering reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed product drawings based on customer specifications and engineering input.
- Create tooling drawings to optimize material usage and reduce manufacturing time.
- Ensure all drawings comply with CAD guidelines, customer standards, and project requirements.
- Manage drawing revisions and maintain accurate documentation in PDM systems.
- Support design and process engineers by providing timely CAD deliverables.
- Participate in design review meetings and provide technical feedback on product improvements.
- Stay current with software updates and implement new CAD functionalities as needed.
- Availability for occasional domestic and international travel.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience with 3D design software (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Diploma or certification in CAD is a plus).
- Exposure to design engineering, process engineering, project management, quality, or prototyping.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 procedures (basic level).
- Intermediate English proficiency (technical communication).
