The senior finance consultant – dynamics 365 f&scm role involves working closely with clients to review business processes, provide analysis, assess solutions, and advise on best practices to meet client goals. The position requires a solid understanding of core finance and accounting principles and the project lifecycle.
critical qualifications and experience
1. proven ability to manage multiple consulting engagements, guiding teams to ensure project objectives are met.
2. understanding of gaap (generally accepted accounting principles).
3. experience leading junior consultants and client sme teams.
4. experience implementing finance modules such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, budgeting, cost accounting, cost management, fixed assets, and asset management.
5. knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies.
6. excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
7. self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
8. willingness to travel up to 50%.
desirable qualifications and experience
1. experience with d365 project management and accounting implementations.
2. bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
3. understanding of ifrs.
4. cpa license.
5. experience with sales tax implementation across multiple countries.
6. 3+ years in dynamics ax and/or d365f&o.
7. knowledge of project reporting, budgets, forecasts, transactions, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
8. ability to adapt in a changing environment and work across organizational levels and cultures.
9. experience with azure devops, functional design documents, and data migration in dynamics 365.
key responsibilities
1. analyze customer requirements and configure/testing microsoft dynamics applications accordingly.
2. collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify process improvements.
3. evaluate business processes against microsoft dynamics functionality.
4. follow argano’s agile implementation methodology, utilizing standard templates and improving documentation assets.
5. utilize microsoft technologies and alm stack effectively.
6. document business requirements and lead configuration/customization efforts.
7. facilitate decision-making for modifications, develop functional design documents, and conduct acceptance testing.
8. lead crps, pis, and uats, gathering user feedback to ensure solutions meet requirements.
9. provide support to clients, monitor support cases, and contribute to knowledge bases and marketing activities.
10. leverage industry experience to mitigate risks during implementation.
