Job purpose tco improvement: continuously improve tco and performance to achieve the company´s targetscategory procurement strategy: contribute to develop and implement the category strategy and achieve annual budgetssupplier management: own the commercial relationship with designated suppliers, develop new ones, manage and solve suppliers’ issues when necessarynew product introduction (npis): support the development of new productskpis: understand all key figures and contribute to achieve thempoint of contact: “first point of contact” for all suppliers and all the company´s plants in the assigned regionbackfill the head of category when required to do so (pto, etc.)main activities 1. Tco improvement (total cost of ownership):plan annual tenders, improvement projects, and negotiations calendar aligned with category and bus’ priority listidentify opportunities and prepare rfis/rfqssuggest and execute sourcing strategyimplement price negotiations in multiple formatsco-lead negotiations award; follow up supplier transitions2. Category strategyco-develop category procurement strategy including:o scouting, risk assessment & market analysiso understand business requirements, stakeholder mapping,o design category plans, launch projects & prepare annual budget3. Point of contactbe a trusted “go-to person” for all bus procurement needs of the categorybe the key liaison between bus and suppliers for issue’s management, continuous improvement initiatives, commercial and other relevant topicsinitiate long and short-term initiatives with suppliers`requirements for the positionmust have:studies & experience:bachelor’s degree in business administration, financial or technical studyminimum of 5 years’ of regional procurement experienceexperience in a large international corporate environment with multiple bu’s, operating in multiple currencies and a decentralized management structurehigh-level user of google or microsoft applications, word, excel and powerpoint.analytical skills, good knowledge of business analysis and costing – tco modelsfully fluent in spanish and english (spoken and written)basic knowledge of legal documents, able to read and interpret contracts, and involve the legal support only when necessarypersonality:people management skills required to interact with a broad spectrum of experience levels, skill sets, business levels and communication methodsconfidence to interact with upper managementconfidence in presentingeffective communication skills.
