*job overview*:
- this position will provide inventory control support for the finance manager, plant manager and finance director, provide an individual business analysis with various inventory issues, forecasting production e&o controls, im and whm etc and will report to the finance manager.
other responsibilities include ensuring strong inventory movements, and inventory control.
*a day in the life*:
- work with materials team to ensure the inventory accuracy and control.
- oversee inventory control to ensure efficient practices and procedures are in place.
- monitor and reduce excess to policy and excess and obsolete inventory.
- working with materials and operations to monitor inventory levels, products demand, sales.
- lead the cycle count strategy and set up a schedule for regular cycle counts.
- implement and maintain a filing system of the facts, discrepancies, and issues identified during the inventory counting process to maintain accurate records that can easily be retrieved.
- research, reconcile and record inventory discrepancies in a timely manner in inventory and scrap
- coordinate with physical inventory preparation.
- coordinate with bu and planning team to maintain forecast sheets.
- coordinate with customs and purchasing team the custom and duties expense and forecast.
- support and back up schedules as needed.

- 5 years manufacturing experience
- at least 3 years people managing role
- minimum of 5 years of accounting, auditing, materials and related experience of which at least 5 years must be in inventory control.
- international experience working with foreign currency a plus
- sap experience with finance, inventory and cost module
- understanding of us gaap
- computer/system skills
- strong proficiency in ms office (excel, word, outlook, sharepoint and powerpoint), particularly excel and powerpoint
- strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis.
- bs degree in business, administration, finance or related
- mba preferred
- bilingual english-spanish 70%
