Key roles and responsibilities
the digital data tech lead is responsible for driving the architecture and evolution of analytical data solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and integrity while aligning with business objectives. They will collaborate closely with business, data, and engineering teams to implement best practices in data engineering and governance.

* define and enforce technical architecture and development standards across analytics assets
* promote the use of modern tools and technologies aligned with business needs
* participate in project and task prioritization based on business impact
* drive standardization and documentation of etl processes and reporting dashboards
* manage the technical backlog and monitor the performance of data solutions
* contribute to data governance policy implementation
required skills and qualifications
to excel in this role, candidates should possess strong experience in visual data design and architecture, advanced sql and data modeling skills, hands-on expertise in etl/elt development and dataops practices, cloud data experience with aws and google bigquery, familiarity with data visualization tools, proficiency in python for scripting and automation, and competency in microsoft office suite for documentation and collaboration.
preferred qualifications
a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications such as certified data engineer (cde) or certified business intelligence analyst (cbia) are highly valued.
