Finance leader – eaton
as part of the finance group, this position will participate in the proper accounting of the balance sheet and p&l for multiple ledgers and legal entities, in accordance with eaton financial policy, mexican gaap and us gaap. This role is instrumental in leading the development and analysis of forecasts and actual performance and operational metrics, and is responsible for the plant budget process with a focus on cost savings projects and capital expenditures.
Support in the process of budget and forecast.
Review and prepare weekly/month‑end close to prevent financial impacts.
Oracle planning rolling forecast data loading.
Manufacturing, admin and fixed expenses control and implement budget by areas/project.
Support in external and internal audits.
Assist accounting manager in observing and implementing internal controls in plant, in the development and maintenance of internal procedures aligned to corporate and divisional policies.
Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate and consolidate financial budgets, forecast and profit plan activities.
Payslip & payroll – eaton
responsible for calculating and processing payroll for operational staff.
Management of the employee savings plan.
Requesting and calculating meal vouchers and gift cards.
Management and control of government payments (fonacot, imss, infonavit).
Requesting changes in the tress system (position, supervisors, and salaries).
Preparing monthly payroll reports.
Providing internal customer service.
Administrative control and monitoring of pensions.
Quality manager – eaton
insure the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system according to iso 9001 and eaton quality system and generate a quality culture across the organization. Ensure the necessary resources in the quality department to comply with the proper support of the quality systems and support all of the vsm lines and other functional departments. The responsibilities include the focus on processes to satisfy the customers’ requirements, improvements in the products/processes and meet the key objectives from top management.
Lead wide quality initiatives along with the plant manager to transform our quality culture.
Ensure the necessary processes are established, implemented and maintained for the qms based on iso‑9001:2015 and eqs. Comply with all procedures, drive management reviews and ensure robust document control.
Drive critical quality metric improvement - customer rejects, ppm's & service tickets, conc (scrap, reworks, warranty, premium freight, e&o), internal quality performance.
Ensure global quality programs and standards implementation across the site.
Authority to enforce production and manufacturing process stops, if process or product quality is not fulfilled or compromised.
Drive root‑cause addressing and systemic corrective actions for customer escalations and process performance out of the standard.
Empower and develop quality team members.
Guide teams in data analysis and advanced problem‑solving techniques through statistics, customer complaints, investigations and corrective and preventive actions; profound knowledge of core quality methods like fmea, 8d, ishikawa diagram, 5why and value stream management.
Proficient in english and spanish.
Strong collaboration and partnership with design and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure exceptional process and product performance.
Engineering manager – eaton
lead a team of 10 direct reports and 22 indirect reports to coordinate and execute product line support for eaton’s rapidly growing lipe product line. The role requires a combination of technical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent and ensure alignment with the business’ top goals.
Partner with product management, technical, and operations leadership to prioritize and execute activities.
Drive collaboration with internal cross‑functional teams (especially design, quality, and manufacturing).
Represent the engineering team in plant meetings and operations to ensure inclusive decision‑making.
Identify and expedite organizational needs, including headcount and expense allocation.
Develop and execute the va/ve and npd strategy for the queretaro site.
Enforce engineering change management control through the existing process, while constantly improving the process and execution times.
Provide timely and appropriately detailed updates on ongoing activities as requested by leadership.
Sponsor critical projects for the engineering team, removing organizational roadblocks.
Track and communicate the budget for the team.
Drive continuous improvement in both engineering and plant processes.
Develop critical relationships to ensure a collaborative environment between the cross‑functions.
Coordinate meetings within engineering and represent engineering at plant- and division-level sessions.
Product/design support – eaton
provides direct product support in analyzing and validating assembly activities and/or deviations.
Supports design of products to address performance improvements; analyze and improve product design rules (assembly layout, material analysis and validation). Review material standards and determine new material options for cost reductions.
Reviews and updates drawings, bills of materials and internal specifications through the ecn/ecr process.
Works with production department on cost reduction initiatives.
Generates laboratory requests and analysis for material/electrical/mechanical testing.
Works with marketing to design and develop solutions to meet customer’s needs.
Coordinates with both queretaro and global cross‑functional staff, interfacing with global design owners.
Supports manufacturing and production testing; investigates tooling, quality control and production problems and recommends corrective action.
Supports local and global sourcing/purchasing to evaluate, recommend and develop supplier relationships.
Establishes and maintains a collaborative working relationship with other areas.
Conducts design reviews and the dfmea/pfmea sessions to identify project risks and develop response plans.
