- and bottom-line growth and value for the mexico foods business.
this role requires close business engagement with multiple functions, including *r&d, marketing, finance, supply chain, global portfolio, bg procurement*, and suppliers.
exceptional communication, stakeholder management, bias for action, influencing capabilities, strategy development, business acumen, and project management skills are essential for success in this position.
*key responsibilities*
- drive and deliver procurement actions under the foods strategy, including innovation management, forecast engagement, sustainability, and value creation through *5s*, *asa/ama projects*, *complexity reduction*, and *resilience program*:
- ensure early procurement and supplier involvement in innovations and supply chain projects; act as a core team member in cross-functional teams to ensure *otif* (on time in full) delivery.
- support portfolio buyers with foods factories' material procurement projects (e.g., network optimization, asa/ama).
- identify and deliver in-year and long-term material saving opportunities; secure resources for cost-saving projects.
- ensure visibility of capex requirements for moulds and alignment with cluster sc functions.
- align projects with suppliers, ensuring they are part of joint business development plans and supported by the foods business.
- build strong global procurement networks to deliver fast and high-quality savings and innovation projects.
