Job overview:
the production leadership role involves overseeing an operational team in a manufacturing environment. As a leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that all associates adhere to established safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
* conduct regular site visits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
* manage the certification process of direct operators and ensure they meet quality and efficiency standards.
* supervise the execution of production programs and achieve productivity goals.
* participate in training sessions for various production processes and equipment operation.
* collaborate with staff to resolve security or other issues affecting the area.
* monitor and improve scrap rates, identifying opportunities for reduction.
* request staff movements at least 48 hours in advance and apply changes on mondays or at the start of the week.
* bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering or equivalent experience in the automotive industry.
* minimum one year experience in manufacturing or process engineering in production.
* automotive experience preferred.
* mandatory trainings by client (programmed in the annual training plan if not already completed).
* core tools or problem-solving strategies knowledge.
* medium or advanced office skills.
* basic msa knowledge.
* measuring tools knowledge desired.
* pro-active attitude.
* ability to work as a team member or team leader.
* strong communication and leadership skills.
