Paid Media Specialist
We’re looking for a Paid Media Specialist who is both socially in‑tune and data‑driven. You’ll own paid media execution across Meta and TikTok (primary channels), while also supporting campaigns on YouTube and Pinterest. This role combines creativity and analytics: you’ll dive into data to extract insights, but also craft strategies that drive growth, conversions, and social presence. This is an individual contributor role (not people management), with ownership over paid media channels and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and occasionally YouTube and Pinterest.
- Monitor performance daily, adjusting targeting, creative, and spend to maximize ROI.
- Build dashboards, track KPIs, and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Manage budgets ranging from $1K/month to multi‑million annual spends (e.g., $100K campaigns with $20K dedicated to paid and always‑on accounts of $30K/month).
- Run A/B and multivariate tests to refine creative and targeting strategies.
- Partner with creative, influencer, and strategy teams to align paid with organic content.
- Stay up to date on platform updates, competitor activity, and TikTok Shop innovations.
- Occasionally join client calls to explain findings or understand briefs.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of paid media experience, preferably agency‑side.
- Proven ability to scale paid campaigns across Meta & TikTok.
- Strong proficiency with Ads Managers (Meta, TikTok).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn it into strategy.
- Comfortable explaining performance to stakeholders and occasionally clients.
- Bonus: familiarity with attribution models, GA4, or advanced analytics.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time PST hours (8–5 or 9–6).
