a compliance officer position is available for a skilled professional who can ensure company compliance with various regulations.
* main responsibilities:
* monitor and enforce regulatory compliance in the automotive and environment sectors, including noms, environmental, labor, and trade laws.
* advise on personal data handling and ensure compliance with lfpdppp regulations.
* implement anti-money laundering (aml) procedures and conduct ubo identification, record-keeping, and quarterly reviews of contract ledgers.
* design and deliver compliance training programs for employees, management, and suppliers on aml, kyc, workplace ethics, competition law, and general compliance standards.
* conduct risk assessments related to supply chain, environmental impact, product safety, customs processes, and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in law, international business, compliance, or a related field.
* at least 3 years of experience in compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, or risk management, preferably in the automotive industry.
technical skills
* strong knowledge of mexican noms, environmental/labor regulations, and import/export compliance.
* solid understanding of personal data protection laws (lfpdppp) and arco rights.
* expertise in aml/kyc procedures, vulnerable activities, and ubo identification.
* experience designing and delivering corporate compliance trainings.
* familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
