Prototype development specialist
as a prototype development specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions in accordance with customer requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes that meet design specifications.
* review 3d models and 2d drawings to ensure proper assembly and correct manufacturing of parts in accordance with design requirements.
* perform mechanical and electronic work for the functional development of prototypes (e.g., assembly of electronic boards).
* verify that finished prototypes comply with established dimensions and specifications.
* provide technical support to internal departments and customers, participating in problem analysis and testing using prototypes.
* collaborate with the engineering and r&d area in defining the method of construction of the prototypes.
* monitor the progress of assigned tasks and escalate potential delivery risks in a timely manner.
* evaluate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment in the area, ensuring its availability and good condition.
requirements:
* technical or engineering degree in mechatronics, mechanics/advanced manufacturing.
* 1-2 years experience in prototype development.
* design for manufacturability/process from scratch experience.
* mastery of machining technologies (cnc, laser engraving, edm, stamping), materials, pcb prototypes, and processes.
* knowledge of instrumentation machines and tools.
* knowledge of measurement.
* knowledge of 3d printing technologies, machining, cnc, laser etching, painting.
* iatf 16949 and iso14001 knowledge.
* intermediate english skills.
