* peterson school is seeking an experienced ib english teacher to join our upper school team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience teaching english within the ib diploma and a demonstrated ability to develop students’ advanced academic english skills.
* this position requires english proficiency at c2 level and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.

* teach english courses within the ib diploma programme
* plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with ib standards
* prepare students for ib internal and external assessments
* assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support language development
* maintain accurate academic records and documentation
* collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and student success
* participate in school initiatives, meetings, and professional development
requirements:

* bachelor’s degree in english, education, or a related field
* minimum 5 years of teaching experience
* experience teaching in the ib diploma programme (required)
* english proficiency at cefr c2 level
* strong understanding of ib pedagogy and assessment
* excellent classroom management and communication skills
* proficiency with google workspace / educational technology
* passion for education and student development
* experience teaching in international or bilingual schools (preferred)
