the strategic programs team is part of a multifaceted digital engineering and platform organization at thermo fisher scientific.
as part of the strategic programs team for digital platforms and engineering, you will be responsible for defining and executing the digital strategy for thermo fisher scientific, ensuring the seamless integration of our online platforms.
we are looking for self-starters who are keen to help grow our digital footprint.
working with the senior manager of strategic programs, you will help in the deployment of key critical initiatives with a focus on commerce enablement, strategic analysis, and landscaping exercises.
we work closely with internal business partners and ebusiness product management team members to implement the broader strategic vision in a tangible, executable manner for the teams.
individuals in this role will need to balance a high-level technical understanding of systems and processes with a solid ability to lead business requirements definition and execution throughout a given program.

- translate strategic goals into actionable programs to expand our portfolio capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.
- build strong relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, functional teams, and external partners.
influence and align stakeholders to gain consensus and support for strategic programs.
- work closely with it and development teams to customize and optimize the e-commerce platform.
troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring a smooth online customer experience.
- define key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate program success and impact.
establish monitoring mechanisms and reporting processes to track progress against targets.
analyze data and provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership.
- collaborate on special projects to assess and identify growth opportunities by using fact-based analysis, market trends, competitive intelligence, customer needs analysis, technology advancements, policy & regulation changes to drive sales revenue, and optimization of site-wide key performance indicators.

- bachelor's degree from an accredited higher learning institution preferred

- proven track record in leading projects and timelines within a matrixed organization
- demonstrable ability to think strategically, analyze sophisticated business problems, and develop innovative solutions in the context of the overarching digital platform and engineering strategic goals.
- demonstrated experience leading cross-cultural and multi-functional to drive organizational change.
strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
- experience working in an agile environment and tools
- ability to work independently, within a team, and collaboratively across teams
- minimum of 5 years of experience in ebusiness or digital marketing, with digital transformation.
