Objective
To implement the Sustainability strategy across manufacturing plants in Mexico, ensuring environmental and energy regulatory compliance, improving environmental KPIs, and leading projects related to emissions, energy, water, and waste reduction.
Main Responsibilities
• Define and implement sustainability strategies (emissions, energy, water, and waste reduction) per plant in collaboration with the central team.
• Execute sustainability projects from CAPEX request through full implementation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and energy legal requirements, including permits, reports, and operational conditions.
• Guarantee compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations aligned with international best practices.
• Support inspections, visits, and audits from government authorities (CNA, PROFEPA, STPS, etc.).
• Develop and implement internal audit systems focused on environment and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance and continuity of certifications such as ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ASI, and Clean Industry.
• Coordinate environmental and energy training programs with local HR.
• Monitor and report environmental KPIs (waste, water, energy consumption, and compliance).
• Identify environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement technical and administrative controls, including environmental emergency response systems.
