work you'll do/responsibilities
as a fund statistics senior consultant, you will work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions
* generate and deliver approximately 35 recurring and various ad hoc fund statistics reports per associate, covering performance, holdings, risk, and compliance and 500 custom monthly inquiries.
* use inquiry manager workflow tool and excel automation/macros for report intake, generation, and exception handling.
* address custom report requests from multiple stakeholders (account managers, rfp teams, performance teams).
* conduct and document internal peer and manager quality reviews, ensuring all outputs meet formal slas.
* perform root cause analysis and support iso-mandated error logging for significant discrepancies.
* maintain, update, and document reporting processes and templates, incorporating feedback and process enhancements.
* identify opportunities and implement excel automation and new tools to reduce manual workload.
* support transition planning, shadow cycles, and upskilling efforts as global coverage expands, especially in emea.
* participate in knowledge transfer, training, and cross-team coordination to support business continuity during transition periods.
* review and approve requests for new data to be reported externally for global mutual funds, in collaboration with product strategy, risk, portfolio management, legal and compliance.
* review statistics and performance reporting in all regulatory materials including annual/semiannual reports, n-port, n-cen, pf, pqr, prospectuses and provide data support for new regulatory requirements.
* create and review custom performance, flows and peer data for global fund boads.

qualifications required
* 6-10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
* completion of coursework (egresado) in any pertinent field or industry
* responsible for supporting and leading project workstreams and/or teams
* identifies key drivers, defines problems and proposes solutions
* advanced english level.
* experience in financial/reporting analytics, preferably with asset management or fund operations background
* expertise in excel (macros, automation), process documentation, and workflow tools.
* detail-oriented with strong quality control and peer review experience.
* strong communicator, adept at managing ad hoc queries and collaborating across teams.
* deep understanding of investment management products types (e.g., mutual funds, exchange traded funds, interval funds, closed end funds).

* experience supporting internal/external audits and operational change initiatives is a plus
