Position summary
the jr. Product success specialist is responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment, performance, and profitability of katun’s product portfolio in latin america. This includes in-depth competitive analysis, product lifecycle tracking, support for new product development, and proactive monitoring of price erosion and market opportunities. The role acts as a cross-functional bridge between marketing, sales, and finance, providing insight-driven recommendations and ensuring product availability, relevance, and competitive positioning.

- conduct lifecycle analysis to assess the maturity and rotation of key products.
- identify high-margin products with low sales and recommend corrective actions.
- analyze gm margin vs asp to monitor profitability trends.
- compare performance vs access product segments based on pricing, quality, and strategic positioning.
- execute market benchmarking across:
katun vs competitors
access vs afm
performance vs oem
generate regular reports and present insights to guide commercial decisions.
*new products process*
- participate in labu connections meetings to assess feasibility, costs, and conditions of proposed new products.
- validate input data from market demand, sales channels, and cost estimates.
- support cost reduction initiatives (cost downs) by identifying opportunities within the current portfolio.
- consolidate and evaluate new product requests from internal or market-driven sources.
- maintain an opportunity tracker to ensure follow-up and visibility on potential new launches.

- ensure product lines are suite complete (complementary items available for key models).
- coordinate and validate information for price grids from the corporate office.
- analyze access vs performance offerings by:
product coverage
brand differentiation
pricing strategies
- propose adjustments based on portfolio gaps, market demand, or competitive shifts.

- monitor and prevent price erosion by sku, product segment, and competitor activity.
- conduct quarterly reviews of pricing performance and identify margin risks.
- recommend corrective and preventive actions, including:
product repositioning
low-cost alternatives
challenges to internal price reduction requests not justified by volume or strategy.

education and experience:
- bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, e-commerce, or a related field.
- fresh graduated or 1-2 years of proven experience in marketing, pricing, data analysis

- microsoft excel (macros, pivot tables, power bi)
- desirable crm knowledge and reporting
