Senior digital media investment director
the ideal candidate will lead the team responsible for placing, confirming, and monitoring digital media orders to ensure seamless execution of clients' advertising programs.
this role requires senior leadership skills to provide high-level media expertise to assigned accounts. The director navigates the complexities of digital advertising to deliver accurate, accountable, and seamless media experiences for internal and external clients.
key responsibilities include:
1. developing comprehensive digital marketing plans incorporating paid digital media (programmatic, search, social media) and other relevant channels to drive client success.
2. leading a team of managers and staff responsible for delivering exceptional results across multiple clients.
3. educating, ideating, and supporting training teams in the development of digital strategies, best practices, and idea generation; ensuring teams are equipped to support the media planning and buying process.
4. overseeing agency processes to ensure execution, optimization, and best practices are followed across teams; collaborating with leadership and peers to identify and develop new workflow processes.
5. creating and managing media strategy and recommendations; participating in client proposal development and presentation, highlighting roles of different digital channels within a connections strategy.
6. providing proactive pov documentation on industry trends for key stakeholders.
7. maintaining awareness of the ever-changing landscape of digital advertising, including new technology, ai, and evolving platforms.
8. ensuring infrastructure exists for flawless execution of assigned media buys.
9. primary focus on digital strategy, marketplace intelligence, and thought leadership for all client relationships.
10. leading advancements in data trend analysis and interpretation; educating executive stakeholders on changes to marketplace conditions.
11. representing the agency to senior vendor contacts to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles/tactics for plan consideration.
12. participating in new business activities and pitches, including rfp response development, proposals, and presentations.
13. managing a team of direct reports (remote and across locations) with accountability for all aspects of team oversight.
14. motivating, leading, and training team members while fostering accountability and ownership; marshaling resources as necessary to ensure work completion accuracy and timeliness.
15. creating, implementing, and supporting operational best practices across the team and department.
