your role will be to manage/ coordinate a team of about 7 software developers who deliver high quality solutions for our customer.as a system test manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for the assessment, planning and execution of system tests.
you work in a project team of specialists and create the system test concept for the project.
based on the test results provided by the subsystem test managers, you determine the maturity level of the overall system*group leader responsibilities*- plan and monitor the execution of all activities/ tasks to meet due dates according to clients' requirements; - assign tasks to team members, according to their internal function, competences, and capabilities, with the involvement of the direct superior when necessary, to increase team performance; - keep contact with the business partners (e.g.
discipline project leader, technical project leader, project manager)- organize regular team meetings to communicate administrative topics and project related information; - act as interface of the team towards next levels of management; - responsible to facilitate knowledge sharing at team level; - mentor and/ or coach for team members, when necessary, on technical topics to obtain expected project results; - is involved in all steps of the hiring process of new team members when requested (e.g.
participates in interviews as technical evaluator and/ or at interview decisions together with direct superior and hr representative etc.
); - perform regular meeting with all direct reports, to monitor performance, motivation, give & receive feedback, discuss the road map and plan actions if necessary; - responsible to ensure that employees' competencies and capabilities from his/ her team are at the level required by the job, by setting objectives and proposing technical and soft skills trainings for his employees; - perform the yearly performance management process for all direct reports, with the supervision of the direct superior when needed, according to the applicable procedure, time and budget limits; - escalate to his/ her superior project/ administrative issues which need higher management decision/ approval/ review (e.g.
fluctuation risk, project issues, technical issues); - create an innovation culture, by facilitating knowledge sharing within his/ her team; - contribute to improvement programs at location/ bu level when requested; - respect the confidentiality of information he/she has access to inside the company; - respect the internal regulations and company's procedures
