Job summary job summary: - to support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _intern_ located in _aguascalientes_ - responsible for providing technical support, technical capability & accountability of diverse scope to the global design procurement organization to ensure continuity of supply, supplier development, supplier readiness and improvement activities in order to improve the cost, delivery, response, service & quality requirements for flex design & customers._ what a typical day looks like: - _facilitate and identify opportunities for the redesign or component substitution to provide cost reduction, reliability and quality improvement, and manage commodities in identifying opportunities to source with flex preferred suppliers._ - _select, find sources for and qualify components used._ - _provide technical backup for alternate sourcing recommendations, such as identifying relevant specification differences and board design changes required, and providing the interface with the supplier’s design team._ - _collaborate with component suppliers, development engineers, and manufacturing._ - _participate in the rapid development of industry environmental compliance requirements (rohs/weee) at the up-stream supply chain management to ensure full compliance to flex/customer implementation requirement such as supply chain compliance with integral legislative requirements pertaining to lead elimination and reduction of hazardous substances in electronics products._ - _provide technical support to flex design centers and different market segments as needed to resolve manufacturing problems of moderate scope related to component performance, component handling requirement & process, or internal/customer issues._ - _maintain component data management system including qualification _records/results/documentation._ - _develop written specifications, performance requirements and quality inspection criteria._ - _liaise with component suppliers, development engineers, and manufacturing._ - _provide customers with materials procurement and engineering support to meet their lead free and environmental compliance requirements._ - _work with development community and manufacturing teams to ensure that components are compatible with lead-free manufacturing processes._ the experience we’re looking to add to our team: - _ engineering degree._ - _ experience with supplier’s quotations._ - _ experience with commodity manufacturing processes._ - _ experience with gd&t.;_ - _ experience with ppap._ - _ experience in project management._ - _ b2/c1 english level._ what you’ll receive for the great work you provide: - _ competitive salary._ - _ life & medical insurance._ - _ christmas bonus._ - _ food coupons._ - _ saving fund._ job category intern *required skills*: optional skills: #j-18808-ljbffr
