The Production Planner is responsible for building the Master Production Schedule for the site, based on the demand plan and to implement it in close co-operation with Production, Sourcing and Materials Management. Key Responsibilities: - Build the Master Production Schedule, based on the demand plan - Identify opportunities for inventory reduction - Review customer demand and align with production planned orders - Provide revised dates on customer orders when needed. - Assist with Engineering Change Requests - Provide data and analysis as needed regarding the production plan - Escalate shortages and potential shortages - Manage expedites and reschedules for planned and firm production orders - Ensure compliance with Honeywell Operating System - Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
Experiência y requisitos
You Must Have: - Bachelor or master’s degree in supply chain or other relevant areas. - Experience in a production or logistics environment - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and principles of structured problem solving - Knowledge of and experience with SAP or another ERP system - Hands on experience scheduling production in a manufacturing plant. - 3-5 years’ experience working with multiple sites in a matrix organization. - 3-5 years’ experience working hands on with MRP/ ERP systems (you must understand MRP and how to use it). - Near expert level proficiency in MS Excel. We Value: - Working Knowledge of SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response. - Proficient level understanding of how Master Data works in an MRP system. - The ability to work independently. - People who like to solve problems and drive solutions. - Proficiency with Power BI and/or Tableau or the ability and desire to learn these. - Ability to communicate information clearly - Ability to communicate with all members of the site, including leadership
