Job title: treasury specialistjob descriptionthe treasury analyst role participates in the day-to-day treasury operations including cash management initiatives, banking relationships, banking platforms, month-end reporting, intercompany loans, and the company’s credit card program. It also some has some accounting responsibility including managing accounts payable/receivable, maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, cooperation with auditors (including transfer pricing), and completing month-end close. This position reports to the treasury senior manager and works closely with all finance functions. The treasury team has operations in the mexico and the u.s. and will work closely with global treasury colleagues in japan.responsibilities and dutieshelp maintain banking relationships and identify opportunities to enhance bank services and the customer experiencemanage all aspects of banking administration including maintenance of all bank accounts and authorized signersoversee daily cash position and initiation of wire transferssustain accounting functions and procedures directly related to the p&l and balance sheetsupport accounting & reporting requirements for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cyclesmanage intercompany transactions and borrowing processes, reporting, repayments, and documentationoversee the company’s credit card programmaintain treasury policies and procedures and support sox complianceimplement process improvements within the treasury functionsupport special projects and other duties as assignededucation, experience and skillsenglish conversational proficiency bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics. (accounting highly preferred)3+ years of experience in treasury operations strong analytical, financial modeling, and data analysis skills.excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.knowledge of accounting, financial markets, investment strategies, financial instruments, and risk management concepts.strong proficiency in microsoft excel and other financial software applications.ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
