responsibilities
leading automotive and steel handling company, direct supplier to kia, looking for:
quality engineer (global oem and quality system).
global oem activities
lead and manage customer quality claims from global oems (gm, tesla, ford etc.), ensuring timely containment, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions.
coordinate and submit 8d / 5-why / ishikawa problem-solving activities related to customer claims and field issues.
consider strict timelines to prevent the recurrence
coordinate, execute and submit the ppap and apq (levels 1-5), following the aiag standards
lead the customer audits and ensure all findings are closed with robust corrective actions
assure to stablish, implement & maintain the continuous improvement on the process by the quality system under the requirements from iso *:* & iso *:*.
ensuring compliance from iso *:* & iso *:* mandatory requirements.
control all the documents from operations department and update the document master list.
support to accept or reject the suspicions material that are producing on the line
support with customer attention
conducting floor and area walkthroughs to validate correct process execution and proper follow-up on non-conforming material.
assure the calibration from all quality equipment's.
qualifications
bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering
4+ years' of industry experience
strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry
