the role:
as a communications specialist, you’ll play a central role in supporting our property management team by providing responsive, professional, and solution-focused communication across our platforms. You’ll be the primary point of contact for many inquiries, helping to ensure that operations run smoothly and that everyone, from tenants and owners to agents and team members, feels informed and cared for. This is a fully remote role ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented and thrives in a people-first culture.
what we’re looking for:
* 2+ years in customer service, communications, or administrative support (property management experience a plus)
* excellent verbal and written communication skills
* strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* confident with tech and open to learning systems like appfolio, leadsimple, tenant turner, slack, and google suite
* a positive attitude and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
* comfortable working independently in a remote setting
preferred:
* experience with residential property management
* prior use of appfolio, leadsimple, or other crm/property management platforms
* familiarity with communication best practices in fast-paced service environments
what you’ll do:
* answer inbound communication (calls, messages, emails) quickly and professionally
* act as a liaison between internal team members, residents, owners, vendors, and realtors
* use software platforms to track tasks and ensure follow-through on open issues
* troubleshoot problems and escalate when necessary to keep operations moving
* support property management workflows, helping resolve common questions or concerns
* maintain accurate records and clear internal communication
* learn and assist in related functions like leasing, as needed
