Position: auditor interno jr. – junior internal auditor opportunity in guadalajara, jalisco and surrounding regions.
responsibilities
* audit administrative and operational processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* review and evaluate processes, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
* identify and document risks, recommending corrective actions to mitigate them.
* prepare audit reports summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management and audit committees.
* assess financial operations, ensuring proper recording of transactions in the general ledger.
* review reconciliations of bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory records.
* analyze accounting entries for accuracy and appropriate classification.
* perform substantive and control testing on balance sheet and income statement items.
* examine supporting documentation such as invoices, vouchers, contracts, and agreements.
* validate compliance with nif, nia, iso 9001/2015, and other applicable standards.
* conduct physical inventory counts and inventory management audits.
* travel to company locations as required (up to 50‑75%).
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in accounting, industrial engineering, finance, or a related field.
* minimum of 1‑2 years of internal audit experience.
* knowledge of fiscal legislation (isr, iva, cff), imss, infonavit, and iso standards.
* proficiency with excel (intermediate to advanced) and microsoft office suite.
* strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and result‑focused approach.
* excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* willingness to travel to multiple states and sites.
education
* licenciatura (bachelor’s) in accounting, industrial engineering, finance, administration, or related discipline.
location & work schedule
* primary locations: guadalajara, jalisco (alamo industrial), zapopan jalisco, colonia americana, tlaquepaque, and various on‑road assignments.
* full‑time position, 8‑hour shift, monday‑friday (occasionally saturdays for extended hours).
* combination of office and travel; some roles require travel up to 75% of the time.
* some positions offer remote or hybrid components per company policy.
salary & benefits
* base salary range: us$13,500 to us$22,000 per month (nominal, depending on location and experience).
