Overview
the hp solutions operations team is seeking a strong program manager to lead critical initiatives within our business architecture & optimization team.
this individual will play a key role in identifying and driving optimization and continuous improvement initiatives in support of some of the most complex hps challenges. This impactful role provides strategic direction, technical expertise,and operational execution.
this role requires innovative drive, comfort with ambiguity, collaboration across functions, and an ability to assess and raise business risks.
the team's focus is to define, implement and use a common business architecture, standardized execution model, and optimization engine that connects strategy, requirements, processes, data, and technology to measurable outcomes. This team is both an execution engine and a transformation accelerator across the different business models for hps.
focus areas
* optimization & continuous improvement engine. Lead systematic process optimization, root‐cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices, balancing short‐term stabilization with long‐term transformation.
* standardization, governance & execution model. Implement standardized processes, methodologies, and governance models that enable scalable delivery, pmo‐level rigor, and clear accountability across initiatives.
* data, measurement & source of truth. Create dashboards to monitor kpis and deliver control reports that provide transparency, measure success, and enable executive decision‐making.
* business requirement enablement & portfolio alignment. Support leadership action in facilitating, structuring, and prioritizing business requirements, translating them into actionable roadmaps aligned to strategy, investment, and timelines.
* technology enablement & automation at scale. Participate in delivery of automation and workflow optimization.
* ai project management. Ensuring that artificial intelligence solutions are effectively integrated into business processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
responsibilities
* oversees project planning and reporting for the team, ensuring weekly executive updates are delivered.
* collaborates across regions, geographies, and global teams to formulate and implement innovative services, solutions, or programs and their associated processes to address evolving customer and market demands while promoting profitable growth.
* contributes insights based on service data to drive increased sales opportunities, leveraging data-driven strategies for business growth.
* represents services within product or solution portfolio core teams and incorporates service requirements into various product development stages, including activities like product warranty support and cost analysis, as well as the development of content and collateral for service product marketing.
* conducts thorough business analysis, identifies root causes, and formulates recommendations and solutions to drive enhancements in business performance.
* lead value-added activities using lean six sigma methods.
* utilizes both technical and business acumen to lead complex cross-functional initiatives with significant impact on the services business.
* prepares marketing materials to support key operations stakeholders.
* applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
* develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
education and experience required
* four-year or graduate degree in business administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
* typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in service business management, delivery, solution architecting, business planning, or a related field.
