the ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in oms configuration, order routing setup, web hooks/event integrations, inventory management, and complete order lifecycle management within a distributed commerce environment.key responsibilities:- design and implement order routing strategies, scenarios, filters, after actions, and manage custom data sets & lists within the oms platform.
- develop and deploy custom applications or extensions using node.js, typescript, javascript, or java.
- implement and manage webhooks/events for order lifecycle management.
- develop and support order management functionalities including:- order creation- order cancellation- returns- exchanges- manage inventory and location synchronization, availability rules, and stock reallocation processes.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and consume microservices developed in java spring boot or node.js.
- participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
- ensure scalability, security, and performance of oms solutions.
- integrate oms with third-party systems such as payment gateways, erp, wms, crm, and ecommerce platforms.required skills and qualifications:- strong hands-on experience with order management systems (oms).
- proficient in order routing configuration including strategies, scenarios, filters, after actions, and custom data objects.
- experience developing and deploying custom oms extensions or applications.
- in-depth knowledge of order lifecycle events and webhook/event-driven integrations.
- experience with returns, cancellations, and exchanges workflows.
- working knowledge of inventory and fulfilment location flows in a distributed order management system.
- proficiency in microservices architecture, particularly using java spring boot or node.js.
- good understanding of rest apis, event-driven architecture, and third-party integrations.
- strong debugging and performance tuning skills.preferred qualifications:- experience in retail / ecommerce domain.
- familiarity with devops tools and ci/cd practices.
- knowledge of cloud platforms such as aws, azure, or gcp.
- agile/scrum methodology experience.
