the infotainment systems requirements engineer can work either in physical engineering or a software engineering project; identifying specific deliverables and demands of a project, especially the specifications, timeline, and budget assignment.
they work on documents such as the terms of references, project management briefs, and project design.
to be able to accomplish these tasks, a requirements engineer needs to have a good grasp of technical writing and translating clients' needs into a working document.
*responsibilities*:
- develop software/ hardware improvement and diagnosis of infotainment and connected systems
- perform software and/or hardware analysis
- prepare action plans to keep programs on track in developed timelines
- find issues; root cause; and solve
- interface with vehicle teams, hmi, validation, requirement leads, technical specialists
*requirements*:
- knowledge of infotainment systems engineering
- knowledge of requirements documentation and definition
- knowledge of validation practices
- knowledge of quality methods and tools
- knowledge of vehicle system architecture
- knowledge of bluetooth, usb, ethernet/wifi and telecommunications protocols is a plus
- knowledge with can (canoe) bus is a plus
- high level of proficiency in english (speaking, reading, writing)
