purpose
client hotels corporation seeks a specialist to lead and train our sales & events operations colleagues at client inclusive collections. You will collaborate with the broader hotel operational services teams and internal global operations stakeholders, instrumental in continuing to make client a leading hospitality company.
position responsibilities
* lead introduction, execution of training, and deployment of envision to client inclusive collection hotels’ sales & events colleagues to help them achieve and support customer expectations.
* own tasks and training processes needed to support teams in adopting hyatt’s systems to create efficient business practices, deepen customer relationships, and drive topline performance.
* direct liaison with on-property director of sales & marketing, director of sales, operational leaders, and general manager to translate business objectives into real-world examples across sales and events teams to ensure system and process competency drive efficiencies and results.
* manage multiple projects simultaneously and report to the sales and events systems manager responsible for the project.
facilitator
deployment and onboarding will include virtual and onsite components. The role will conduct engaging virtual and in-person classroom sessions to guide on-property teams through the build and learning processes needed to adopt meaningful use of client’s systems.
* lead the sales and events systems introduction, training, and deployment for client’s proprietary systems at client inclusive collection hotels. Include guiding on-property teams to configurations that fit market segment needs and team dynamics to optimize customer relationships and revenue-driving practices.
* develop training materials for use by the s&e team, hotels, or vendors, including slide decks, trainers' notes, and videos.
* maintain relationships with client’s internal teams globally that implement and train the systems at new client hotels through regular remote meetings with vendor counterparts.

experience and qualifications
* experience required: 3+ years of hotel experience in both group sales and events management, with understanding of hotel applications and their business impact. Travel to champion hotel operations may be 50%-75% (not a full-time traveling role).
* fluency in english and spanish (speaking, writing, reading).
* experience preferred: experience with sales platforms such as envision, delphi, etc.; hotel sales & events experience in latin america.
* education: bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field.
