about the role
1. main responsibilities:
* develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote the hotel's luxury positioning, dining outlets, spa, events, and guest experiences.
* maintain and strengthen the hotel's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels (website, social media, print, etc.).
* monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to adjust strategies accordingly.
2. digital marketing expertise:
* lead digital marketing efforts, including seo/sem, email marketing, paid advertising (google ads, meta, etc.), and content strategy.
* develop and implement social media strategies (instagram, facebook, linkedin, tiktok, etc.) engaging with influencers and creating visually compelling content.
3. campaign management:
* plan and execute multi-channel advertising campaigns (print, digital, ota partnerships, etc.).
* develop seasonal promotions, packages, and partnerships with luxury brands or local attractions.
* monitor campaign performance and roi, adjusting strategies as needed.
4. content creation & storytelling:
* oversee the production of high-quality visual and written content (photos, videos, blogs, newsletters).
* ensure all marketing materials reflect the hotel's luxury standards and appeal to target audiences (leisure travelers, honeymooners, corporate clients, etc.).
5. analytics & reporting:
* track kpis (website traffic, conversion rates, social engagement, revenue impact) and prepare regular reports for management.
* use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and budget allocation.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field.
* 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in luxury hotels/resorts or tourism.
* strong expertise in digital marketing (seo, sem, social media, email automation tools).
* proficiency in analytics tools (google analytics, meta business suite, crm systems).
* excellent communication skills in english and spanish (written and spoken).
* creative thinker with strong project management and leadership abilities.
* knowledge of the cancún/riviera maya market and key travel industry trends.
