General objective
assist in the management of the day to day workload for the maintenance/facilities team to ensure an effective and efficient service is delivered and departmental targets are achieved, including the planning and resourcing of planned preventative maintenance (ppm), maintenance shutdown, total productive maintenance (tpm) & facilities equipments.
responsibilities
* drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the team of skilled mechanics. Provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating and overseeing their work.
* monitor trending and data relative to maintenance department and make recommendations for improvement as well as establish implementation plans.
* maintain maintenance records and all related documentation to ensure they meet validated parameters prior to releasing equipment or machinery for operation.
* planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
* interact with individuals from different disciplines (production, quality and customers) to plan, execute and complete multiple simultaneous eo validation activities or customer special requests with time‐sensitive schedules. Assist in validation product load set up and sample/sensor retrievals.
* plc programming.
* maintain and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment; assist in running an efficient maintenance operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
* manage maintenance projects.
* responsible for the safety of individuals on the team and that of those impacted by any maintenance activity.
* assist in the creation and update of mdc maintenance procedures, specifications and other controlled documents.
* utility data collection & analysis (water/gas/energy).
* hvac experience: cooling towers, chillers, ahu's & mau's, vacuum pumps, water pumps, boilers, fire prevention system.
* analysis of issues to root cause and development of countermeasures, improvement actions and/or suggestions to improve due to equipment failure or malfunction.
* control and source maintenance tools, equipment and spares, as well as maintain.
