Job summary:
we are seeking an experienced industrial engineer to join our team.
the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and generating assembly sheets, maintaining updated plant layouts, and implementing projects that help maximize assembly area resources.
key responsibilities:
* carry out assembly instructions, including their release
* develop the fmea sequence
* design and maintain the plant layout
* determine the workforce for the assembly area (manpower)
* define the process and routes
* release boms and 2d drawings
* design and customize workstations
* carry out actions to prevent and correct safety events
* develop continuous improvement exercises to maximize assembly area resources
* define process constraints
* training and coaching the production team on new processes
* execution of the engineering change process (ecn)
* maintenance and development of the assembly matrix
required skills and qualifications:
* degree in industrial engineering
* 2 to 4 years of experience
* 80% bilingual (english and spanish) oral and written
* continuous improvement methodologies
* autocad
* workplace study techniques (time pro plus – avix plus)
* leadership in the implementation of plant layouts
* knowledge of sap
* assertive communication skills
* process simulation. (plus)
* general knowledge of ergonomics and the mexican official standard (nom) (plus)
