provide relevant financial information for better decision making to ensure plant profitability.
*main responsibilities*
- responsible for financial planning & budget tracking (main deliverables: yearly budget, 5yr business plan, monthly outlook/flash/actual results, walk analysis, others)
- key member of plant team that drives both financial results as well as kpi targets.
- close collaboration with operations & mp&l team to develop cmo (carga metallica optima) model, ensure strict adherence & deliver optimum mix and metal margin.
- lead sustainability efforts to ensure progress of our carbon footprint optimization journey.
- lead commercial function to develop & maintain external sales.
- evaluate all business cases to ensure profitable investments & projects.
- strong link to operation team: strategic partner for plant manager for financial analysis, dashboards, reports and explanation of plant results.
- develop & mentor team of ~5.
*position requirements*
- bs in engineering or ba in finance required.
- master’s degree is desired.
- must have highly developed analytical skills & finance knowledge.
- must be able to process financial information and transform into useful insight for plant management team.
- prior experience in financial controlling will be highly beneficial.
- needs to have excellent communication skills to be able to challenge team in a way that builds trust while improving current practices.
- prefer knowledge of sap
- high level of excel proficiency.
- self-motivated and inquisitive; customer focused.
- ability to problem solve and get results.
