we are looking for a junior web developer / junior web architect focused on website migrations and website setup. A core part of our work involves taking over customers' existing websites and migrating them into our environment with minimal downtime and clean handoff.
requirements
web fundamentals
* html, css
* javascript (dom, basic debugging)
* understanding how websites are hosted and delivered (domains, dns, ssl, servers)
cms & platforms
* wordpress setup and migration experience (themes, plugins, exports/imports)
* knowledge of common wordpress issues (permalinks, caching, plugin conflicts)
backend / website migration
* working knowledge of php
* familiarity migrating "traditional" websites (files + db)
* comfortable troubleshooting errors during migrations
