Responsibilities
- providing technical support for sap systems run on aws
- responding to customer tickets in a timely manner, owning basis issues to resolution
- proactively identifying the root cause of issues and recommending and implementing solutions
- on projects supporting the build and migration of sap systems on aws
- liaising with infrastructure, security and other team members to support a customer's requirements
- providing out of hours support cover when scheduled to the support rota
- qualifications
- minimum of 5 years sap basis experience across multiple sap components
- experience with sap basis and netweaver administration.
- hands on experience in supporting customer sap systems and/or implementing and/or migrating sap systems preferably to aws
- experience in sap installation, sap sizing, sap backup and recovery, sap basis monitoring, sap patch management, router configuration, sap kernal administration
- experience in working in multiple customer environments each directly for the customer or as a 3rd party provider
- excellent english language written and oral communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team
