Scope
this role involves providing commercial support to the sales regional manager, account managers, and account executives. Responsibilities include assisting finance, logistics, engineering, or new projects departments with sales planning, contractual issues, project planning, program management, systems compliance, change management, risk management, invoicing, and payments.
the incumbent will manage and execute the internal quotation process for new projects and engineering changes, from request to authorization, using defined tools. They will also manage the commercial accounts of customers and their products during the nomination and development periods, maintaining accurate information throughout the project lifecycle.
* prepare and follow up on quotes for new projects, engineering changes, volume changes, and prototypes using the pcp quotation system. Coordinate with technical areas to present preliminary evaluations and ensure timely delivery to the account manager.
* maintain a filing system for all sales programs, including open and closed quotes, engineering changes, and customer communications, ensuring complete and timely data entry in the quotation platform.
* launch new projects by capturing relevant information within the hanp format, attaching necessary documentation, and coordinating a 'kick-off' meeting with all involved areas to officially deliver the project and document the quoting premises.
* prepare reports on sales projections and scenarios, creating presentations that communicate sales trends by customer and plant.
* track and manage financial issues for existing and new programs, including issuing credit or debit notes in sap for price differences and discounts, validating information received from customers.
* ensure tooling payments are made according to client policies to maintain cash flow and internal processes.
* manage project folders and keep archives updated from project inception to completion for effective control and management.
* collaborate with account managers to identify new opportunities, close deals, and increase sales. Support customer visits to bocar's plants as needed.
* keep price lists updated in accordance with customer agreements.

experience (number of years)
2-3 years of previous experience in sales, marketing, or process engineering within the automotive industry is required.
