what you will do:
1. build strong relationships with clients by effectively communicating program details, anticipating needs, and providing high-level customer service.
2. meet with clients to discuss their event vision and hotel/venue preferences.
3. expertly request proposals (rfp) from properties that suit client needs.
4. negotiate to secure the best deals for clients.
5. serve as the main contact during contracting, ensuring smooth contract completion.
6. organize logistics with finesse and keep details under control.
7. build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
8. be proactive and creative in anticipating changes and building solutions.
9. coordinate and attend global site inspections as needed.
10. manage all event specifics and requirements as the executive producer.
11. develop and monitor budgets, audit billing, track expenses, and communicate changes to clients.
12. conduct post-event reconciliation and evaluation.
what we’re looking for:
* venue sourcing and meeting planning experience over the last 3-5 years.
* excellent communication skills to articulate vision and inspire others.
* motivated to meet deadlines and expectations.
* self-starter with a positive attitude.
* proficient in microsoft office suite.
* passionate about travel and excited to visit destinations worldwide (up to x%).
* four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
* experience with cvent and comfort with technology.
* passion for hospitality and consultative service.
* enjoy creating presentations.
