*quality assurance engineer (qa) - web testing & automation (hybrid - san jerónimo - monterrey, bilingual)*
we are looking for a highly skilled *quality assurance engineer* with strong experience in both manual and automated testing, advanced english communication skills (*bilingual required*), if you are passionate about ensuring product quality and working with modern testing tools, this opportunity is for you!
*key responsibilities*
- develop, execute, and maintain *test plans* and *test cases* for new features and enhancements.
- use automation tools such as *selenium* to build and scale automated test suites.
- perform a mix of *manual and automated testing*, including functional, regression, and performance testing using tools like *jmeter*.
- work closely with developers and product managers throughout the product lifecycle to ensure clear and testable requirements.
- quickly understand business and domain-specific needs to ensure *full test coverage*.
- provide timely, data-driven feedback on product quality, using *jira* to report and track issues.
- actively participate in agile ceremonies such as *sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives*.
*required qualifications*
- bachelor's degree in *computer science, software engineering*, or a related field (preferred).
- *4+ years of experience* in quality assurance roles.
- *advanced english / bilingual* (required).
- availability to work in a *hybrid model in san jerónimo, monterrey*.
*preferred qualifications*
- strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- familiarity with *html, css, javascript, and restful apis*.
- excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- istqb or other software testing certifications (a plus).
