in this regional role, you will support internal customer by securing smooth professional services through source2contract processes, ensuring full alignment with fls's business objectives and driving value creation, innovation and sustainability throughout the supply base.key responsibilitiessourcing/contract negotiationparticipate in vendor sourcing, selection and awarding processes.manage indirect procurement activity and categories (facility management, travel services, hr, legal, finance, consultancy services, corporate events, it, etc.).
align purchases with business specifications and budget.assess vendor quotes and negotiate pricing and relevant contractual terms.maintain a good track of msa term validity and initiate renewals in due time to avoid business interruptions.proactive role in coordinating with internal stakeholders to obtain updated requirements for each renewal cycle and/or new rfp process.identify cost-saving opportunities.procurement operationsreview and validate purchase requisitions from departments.prepare and issue purchase orders (pos) in erp systems, ensure po accuracy (pricing, quantity, delivery, budget code).
secure required approvals before po release to suppliers.provide support with grns when needed.coordinate with finance, suppliers and internal customers to sort invoice-related mismatches, payment delays, etc.contract and documentation managementensure procurement activities follow company policies and maintain segregation of duties and approval workflows.ensure proper record keeping for audit purposes.track and report on procurement performance, savings, and compliance metrics.assist in procurement process improvements.key interfacesinternal: internal customers/stakeholders, business unit lines, regional procurement teamsexternal: vendors, distributorswhat you bringbachelor's degree in business, finance, management or a related field.3-5 years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on professional services.proven expertise in end-to-end process, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, operations (pr/pos) and stakeholder engagement.strong analytical, communication and project management skills.experience in a global matrix organization preferred.as an equal opportunity employer, flsmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
