responsible for developing, optimizing, and ensuring the efficient manufacturing of busbars, guaranteeing compliance with safety and quality standards, cost and production timelines.
focused on implementing detailed process improvements, material selection, specialized machinery management, and technical problem-solving. Collaborates with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure the reliability and performance of manufactured products.

* responsible for the implementation, optimization, and supervision of busbar manufacturing processes, ensuring production meets technical specifications, regulations, quality standards, timelines, and costs.
* leads initiatives for process optimization and waste reduction by introducing new technologies, materials, and strategies to enhance competitiveness. Collaborates with quality, maintenance, procurement, and production teams to ensure the technical and operational feasibility of the product.
* define process parameters and specifications for busbar manufacturing.
* recommend improvements and innovations in materials, machinery, and production methods.
* halt or modify processes in case of critical deviations affecting quality or safety.
what you will do
* define a robust and cost-effective process flow with accurate manufacturing costs for all design requests related to busbar manufacturing.
* conduct effective busbar manufacturing feasibility studies along with pd, npi, and production team as per the criteria.
* troubleshoot issues in a scientific approach using engineering tools, scientific methods, tolerance analysis, spc, doe, and six sigma techniques.
* lead process design, productivity improvements, and quality enhancement in busbar manufacturing.
* participate in design reviews and conduct design for manufacturability assessments to address potential failures and implement corrective actions.
* coordinate with internal teams for tooling requirements, controls, poka-yoke, and cycle time improvements.
* develop and review project plans for each part number, securing management support as needed.
* ensure new product development aligns with pdp processes, driving corrective and preventive actions for assembly processes.
* support and contribute to current quality and environmental management systems following company policies.
who you are
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar; master’s preferred.
* minimum 5 years of experience in cable assembly processes.
* professional proficiency in english.
what will put you ahead
* knowledge of npi and dfmea processes.
* familiarity with ipc/620 and ipc/610 standards.
* understanding of machinery and tooling for cable and harness construction.
* knowledge of cable fabrication practices and tolerances.
* additional knowledge of molding processes, robotics, and automation is advantageous.
